Dominic Peachey

Dominic joined Flawless Money in 2010 from the Financial Services Authority, where he was Technical Specialist in the Risk Division, dealing with electronic money and payments innovation.  He spent 20 years as an international corporate finance specialist with Kleinwort Benson, the UK investment bank, before moving to the National Audit Office and then the Building Societies Commission.  He joined the FSA at its formation in 1998 as a supervisor of retail banks, and then moved to policy to implement the first Electronic Money Directive (2000-2002) and to establish the regulatory regime for electronic money in the UK.  He worked with HM Treasury on the negotiation of the Second Electronic Money Directive (2008-2009).  In addition to giving policy advice on electronic money to a wide variety of stakeholders, he has also worked in Europe, Africa and Asia, giving advice and presentations on the analytical and risk issues arising from new electronic payment systems and the appropriate regulatory response to these.  Dominic is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
