Virginie Ansanay

Virginie Ansanay is chairing the SIMalliance Mobile Transactions Workgroup which objective is to promote the use of a Secure Element in mobile transactions to advance security and interoperability necessary for mobile transactions to thrive.

Virginie is Marketing Product Manager in charge of the NFC UICC offer in the Telecoms BU of Gemalto. She started her career at Philips Electronics as Hardware Board Designer for Satellite TV receivers. She then joined Schlumberger – Public Telephony as a Software Developer and Integrator for payphones. In 2000 she moved to Gemplus (today Gemalto) as Technical Consultant first in charge of Orange in France, UK, and the Caraibbean and then took global responsibility of the account.
